Cove Cottage is on a quiet street, set back from the hustle and bustle of the main harbour front. It is just up the road from Tobermory church and Mull's arts centre (An Tobar), which are impressive buildings, set on the hillside, overlooking the bay. The arts centre has a gallery; a great performance space; cafe and shop. It is a great place for guests staying at Cove Cottage to make use of, as they serve lovely light lunches, teas, coffees and home baking. A short walk down a steep brae from the arts centre, leads to Tobermory's harbour - lined with gift shops, cafes, museum

Things to Do
Tobermory makes for a fantastic holiday destination. Boats are often moored around the central pier in the harbour where fisherman unload their creels and the seafood caught in the waters around the island is served up in the local cafes and restaurants, making the most of the excellent local produce on offer on the island.
The marine harbour building and distillery lie at one end of the bay and there are often an array of small boats and yachts in the bay. Tour boats depart from here for whale watching excursions, or to head out to the Treshnish islands and Staffa.
There is a small theatre on the outskirts of the town, a museum on the harbour front and a children's play park near the high school in the town. There are also walking opportunities along the coast - from each end of the harbour there are trails leading along the rocky cliffs above the water, with Aros Park in one direction and Rubha nan Gall lighthouse in the other.
