Located on Victoria Street in Tobermory, Cove Cottage is a beautifully finished, pet friendly holiday apartment that sleeps four people. The apartment gives guests easy access, on foot, to the excellent selection of shops and eateries on the harbour front.
Tobermory itself is situated around a large natural harbour, protected by Calve island. The cliffs at either end of the harbour are covered in mature woodland and dotted with waterfalls. The town and harbour are considered to be amongst the most beautiful in all the Hebrides.
Located in a quiet residential area of upper Tobermory, Cove Cottage provides a wonderful base for your holiday. There are no restrictions on parking on Victoria Street, which is quiet but quite steep, so guests can also choose to park on adjoining Breadalbane Street if they wish.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the building it occupies, with its own private entrance. Entering the apartment by the main door brings guests into the hallway where there is storage space for belongings. The hall leads into the kitchen, a contemporary and bright space which has been well-equipped for self-catering. There is a dining table here too that comfortably seats four. Quality Denby crockery is provided and local art work completes the space. Guests staying in the apartment are provided with a delightful welcome pack of Mull goodies too.
The living room has dual aspect windows, letting in lots of light and again this room has the crisp, modern feel of a recently converted space. There two comfortable sofas, television, DVD player and a good selection of books and games keep guests entertained. There are great views from this room looking past the distinct spire of Tobermory church and over the harbour and Calve island.
Another hall leads through to the master double. This is a lovely, comfortable room with a super-king sized bed made up with quality bed linen. There is plenty of storage for guests and a chaise longue adds a splash of colour and luxury. The en-suite bathroom has quality sanitaryware with large shower unit, basin, w.c and heated towel rail.
The twin bedroom is located to the front of the apartment - the bedding is of the same high standard and the room is spacious too. A family bathroom is also located off the rear hall with a w.c. basin and bath with shower over.
Nearby is An Tobar - the local arts centre, café and exhibition venue. It's only a five minute walk down to the harbour via a steep brae, where you can explore the many eateries and shops beside the sea. Boats also depart from the harbour exploring Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, as well as whale watching tours.
A 30 minute drive west though some stunning scenery will bring you to Calgary beach – arguably one of Mull’s finest expanses of white sands meeting aqua blue waters. The dramatic and beautiful west coast road can be followed to Ulva ferry and along the shore of Loch na Keal – a designated national scenic area.
South Mull can also be visited with it’s rugged mountain landscape, excellent walking and historic castle at Duart point. Iona is a full day trip from Tobermory and is a great day out with it’s historic abbey and fine sandy coast.

There are some store cupboard basics provided too (oil/salt/pepper) and laundry detergent/dishwasher tablets.
Bedrooms: The double bedroom in Cove Cottage has a super king sized bed and en-suite shower room. There is a twin bedroom in the cottage too. Hair dryer provided.
Bathroom: The family bathroom in the cottage has a bath with shower over, basin and w.c. There is an en-suite bathroom off the double room with shower unit, basin and w.c. Both bathrooms also have a heated towel rail.
Garden: There is no garden at the property, but at the front of the house there is a small gravelled area with outdoor table and chairs.
Heating: Central heating throughout the apartment.
