Things to Do
Craig Beag has been designed and situated to allow guests to appreciate the stunning scenery around the house. The views of the loch and Ben More are really quite exceptional, with few houses on the island having such fantastic views of the highest peak on the island. This means you might find you find it difficult to step away from the comfortable vantage point in the living area, but it would be a shame to miss out on an exploration of the local area, with Carsaig to the south and Tiroran to the north, some of Mull's most remote and inspiring scenery is within easy reach.
To the east, the village of Bunessan is just under a twenty minute drive away and Fionnphort, a further ten minutes on from there, which will give you access to the boat tours and excursions, heading to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish islands.
The rocky coastline around Mull's south west is a haven for wildlife. Photographers, birdwatchers and outdoor enthusiasts will all be in their element here, with stunning scenery on the doorstep and plenty of opportunity for wildlife watching. Otters, seals and porpoises can all be seen from Mull's coastline, if you are lucky, and the white tailed eagle nests here too. The mountainous south is great hiking territory and cyclists and kayakers can make the most of the scenic single track roads and beautiful shoreline.
