Eala Bhan enjoys wonderful views of the Sound of the Mull. A short walk across the airfield in front of the house (watching out for light aircraft as you cross!) brings you to a nice stretch of coastline with rocky outcrops and pebble beaches. The house is in a good central location for those wanting to explore both the north and south of the island.

Things to Do
It is only a five minute drive to Salen from Glenforsa where there is a hotel serving meals, village shop and coffee shops. There is also a hotel a short walk from the house (The Glenforsa Hotel), which has a bar and restaurant open to non residents.
Further north from Salen is the pretty island capital of Tobermory with its colourful buildings and range of shops and eateries. Heading west, there is dramatic coastline and cliffs to explore around Loch na Keal - a great area for wildlife watching and walks. There are boat tours for whale watching or to visit other islands, leaving from Tobermory or Ulva Ferry (west coast).
At Craignure (fifteen minutes drive south) there is a small golf course and a swimming pool and spa at the Isle of Mull Hotel. Duart Castle is another five minute drive from Craignure - you can take a tour of the castle and have something to eat or drink in the tearoom.
