Daisy Cottage at Fishnish is located on the east coast of the Isle of Mull (the road separates the cottages from this pretty stretch of coastline). With its rocky shoreline fringing the Sound of Mull, and high mountain slopes with tumbling waterfalls this is a great location from which to explore the island. The cottages are a short drive from the village of Salen where there is a cafe and restaurant; a good Spar shop for picking up the essentials and a post office and petrol station.
Nearest village: Salen (5 miles)
Drive to ferry terminal at Craignure: 10 minutes

Things to Do
Fishnish is a great location from which to start a variety of walks. Woodland, coastal and mountain walks can all be accessed depending on your preference and capabilities. You will find more information in the cottages. 500 metres to the south of the cottages there is a forestry track which cuts through woodland and follows the coast. A couple of miles south brings you to Garmony where there is another lovely section of coast to explore.
It takes around 20 minutes in the car to reach Tobermory from this area, where of course you will be able to access the restaurants, craft shops, eateries, the arts centre and the theatre. There is also a new marine harbour centre, a museum and golf course, and boats regularly depart from Tobermory harbour for wildlife cruises and whale watching. With its own wild appeals and setting within easy reach of bustling Tobermory, Fishnish offers the best of both for your base on Mull.
