Things to Do
This north western part of Mull has some excellent forestry tracks for mountain biking and some beautiful single track roads for cycling. Coastal walks at Calgary and Treshnish highly recommended and there are some really beautiful white sandy beaches for those willing to get off the beaten track... Langamull and Port na Ba being two excellent examples. It goes without saying that wildlife enthusiasts are well catered for too - red deer, otters and eagles can all be spotted in the area, so bring a pair of binoculars. If you are less active and simply want to relax and take in the views, this holiday house is highly recommended as the views are super.
Tobermory is only a twenty minute drive away so it is easy to access shops, places to eat and boat trips. There are also a couple of restaurants close to Dervaig and the drive down the dramatic west coast to Loch na Keal is beautiful, with the option of heading over to the Isle of Ulva, or taking a boat tour to the Treshnish Islands also on offer here.
