The cottage was cleaned to a high standard, very comfortable bed and good shower. Well equipped kitchen and lovely sea views from every room. Elizabeth kindly came round to say hello which was nice of her. We much appreciated the huge safe garden where Thyme our golden retriever could play safely. The neighbour was friendly and went out of his way to help when our car wouldn’t start in the cold weather. Very good location for exploring north Mull. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely cottage. Spectacular views and ideally located for the whole island. Incredibly well equipped kitchen and good appliances. Owner very helpful. Our two dogs loved the secure garden and all the birds! Great for walks and wildlife and sunsets amazing. Well stocked shop and cafés nearby. Could not have chose better.

An amazing stay at Tigh Bhan! The most perfect property catering for all our needs, a true home from home, we loved the space and the comfort it provided. The spacious utility room which was ideal for storing all our outdoor equipment (paddle boards, wetsuits etc…). The views from every room were spectacular and full of bird life: twite, sandlings, bar-tailed godwit, whimbrel, ringed plover to name a few. We swam and paddle boarded in the bay in front of the house and there is a super wild swimming spot at the mouth of the river Forsa. Elizabeth is the perfect host. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning location and beautiful cottage with everything you could need. 4 adults and 2 dogs had plenty of room and comfort, a definite stay if we return to Mull and Elizabeth is very kind and attentive. We loved it!

The cottage was comfortable, well appointed, warm, beautiful location, very comfortable bed
Everywhere was clean, bright and welcoming. Elizabeth was also welcoming and friendly, made herself known to us and we felt we could contact her should we need to

We had an unforgettable stay at Tigh Bhan Cottage. The location is indescribable and the cottage was furnished with love and attention to detail and had everything you need to spend a lovely week on Mull. Elisabeth is a very attentive and easy going host and came round twice to make sure everything was ok. If we come back to Mull, we will definitely stay at Tigh Bhan Cottage again

Our first visit to the Isle of Mull and we were not disappointed. The cottage, which is the best equipped and most homely that we have ever stayed in, has the most spectacular view over the Sound of Mull. Good walks straight from the cottage which suited our Border Terriers. The owner was most courteous, checking on us the day after we arrived and then phoning the evening before we left. We definitely intend to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cottage with its excellent facilities and super position on the Sound of Mull. Ideally located for access to all parts of the island and greatly reassured by personal contact with the owner.

Our second stay here. We had a fantastic week in this cosy cottage. Our springer spaniel loved the garden and walks along the beach. The cottage is spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view is amazing . We will definitely be back.

Without doubt the best Cottage I’ve ever stayed in on Mull. The cottage itself was warm, spacious and so well equipped. The views were magnificent, both in terms of wildlife and weather (watching snowstorms advancing down the Sound and then the awesome Aurora at night). An ideal location, being in the central area of the island, made visiting places old and new so easy and we loved every minute of our stay. Our hosts were so kind and sped to our assistance when we had a problem with the heating. All in all a wonderful week.

Excellent cottage, has everything you would need and then some. Super views from all windows and a fenced area for the dog. It was very clean, warm and cosy. Very quiet location but in a great place for day trips out to anywhere on the island. Have already booked up again for next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first holiday on Mull. The day to day views from the cottage are unforgettable then to see the Aurora, Sea Eagles, Dolphins and so many smaller birds all while we sat at the kitchen table, what more can you ask for. The owner was lovely and even took the time to text me to let me know dolphins were in the loch. The cottage was warm, the kitchen well equipped and our dog loved the secure garden. We really didn't want to leave and we hope to return to Mull soon.

Spacious property ideal for family holiday with our little dog. We have stayed next door and met the lovely owner then. Great location with views down the Sound of Mull and not too far from the places we regularly visit. It is very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The airfield is right in front of the property. The air ambulance arrived a couple of times during the week. Large utility room which we used after our adventures! The cottage was very warm and cosy. Highly recommended. Thank you to the owners and Isle of Mull Cottages for their great service as always

Lovely cottage, good location. 4 adults, 2 children.
Despite glorious weather two of the bedrooms were so damp/(almost wet) that we had to wash/dry everything on our return because of the smell - maybe because of the shower room en suite? but also the sitting area also had a damp smell. The small toilet could do with a shelf above the basin so that there is somewhere to put toothbrushes etc. The freezer beeped loudly for 11 hours (til 3.30 am) after we arrived because it was overheating? - drove us nuts overnight ...
By Rodgers family stayed in August 2022
Editor's Note: We understand that the owner was in touch to assist with the freezer for the guests. They have found no traces of damp on the guest's departure, the cottage is centrally heated and the en-suite has an extractor fan that guests are encouraged to use.
Wonderful, Very highly Recommended.
I of M Cottages were very sympathetic and helpful over a Covid cancellation a year earlier, top customer service. They handled both bookings perfectly.
Tigh Bhan is terrific; modern, well equipped and very comfortable. It comes with an absolutely stunning view!
We saw Otters on shore south of Craignure & Eagles, Golden and Sea, mostly in the Loch Na Kael area. Then later in the week we saw Eagles again, from the patio at Tigh Bhan.
We were blessed with great weather (late May, early June), which made a visit to the north beaches of Iona a
real treat.

We had a fantastic trip to Mull. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable. The views were amazing and the location for exploring the island was ideal. Our spaniel loved the garden, the beach walks and the light aircraft taking off and landing. He would give it a 5 Paw ???? rating. We saw otters and dolphins from the kitchen window, eagles and seals around the island. Don't forget to pack binoculars. We are already looking at dates for next year!!

Another great stay in Tigh Bhan Cottage - ideally located for ferry, main shops in Tobermory and touring round the Island. As ever house was spotlessly clean & fully equipped. Love the new utility & boot room. Elizabeth & Hugh were great host's friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Glen Forsa Hotel which has a new bar & decking area, which was great for a meal & glass of wine after all day touring the island. The airfield was very busy this week with small aircraft daily - great to watch from the garden. House rooms all face onto the shore, we had some spectacular sunsets.

Cottage was larger than expected and a great location for the ferry, local shops and for touring the whole island. Lovely views over the sound of Mull and we saw Eagles, Otters and the Air Ambulance land.Mull has incredible scenery, amazing wildlife and is easy to tour by car.In October though it is difficult to find places open to visit or eat at , don't go by what their websites and social media say! Would have loved to give 5 stars but can't due to the layout of the cottage and the size of one of the bathrooms ( basically the shower and toilet were in small cupboards to small to move in )

We loved this cottage, great location, great views, comfortable, clean, well equipped a real home away from home. Every where you look there is a view plus the excitement of the light aircraft taking off and landing. There is a great walking along the shore which leads to the Glenforsa Estate where we met two mature stags behind the hid, amazing sight. Also spotted two golden eagles here. With the Glenforsa Hotel so close by serving great food in the restaurant and good food in the bar, this was a bonus. Best location ever. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This place was such a find. Gorgeous views from every room, and the cottage is so well-equipped. A great garden area, fully enclosed and perfect for our dogs Bobo & Boo. Fantastic to sit on the patio and watch the planes, the air ambulance and coast guard helicopters, land and take off. Elizabeth is lovely and so is the neighbour in the cottage opposite.
Great walks on the doorstep and can recommend the fish and chips from the Taste of Mull.
Perfect location near the ferry but so quiet and it’s definitely all about the view. We enjoyed such wonderful sunrise snd sunsets during our stay.

Agree with everyone else. We loved it!! Elizabeth welcomed us once we settled in. A warm, cosy, house with everything we needed, plus a fabulous ever-changing sea loch view. We had the bedroom in between living room and kitchen. Both had good comfy sleeps. Saw the Sea Eagle and Otter from house. Our 2 Spaniels weren't wanting to leave. They liked there new routines. Incl. walks through airfield to shore. Hotel near by was closed for winter refurb work. No planes, but I think the emergency services helicopter take off and land there. We were there Week of Storm Dennis. Had lovely despite this.

Lovely cottage in great location. Very well equipped and spacious for a family. Nice large garden with stunning views over the bay. We were lucky enough to see a light aircraft take off. A few minutes walk to the nearby Glenforsa Hotel for good food and drinks. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Can only re- iterate what has already been said. Our weather wasn't so good but everything about it was marvellous. Have stayed in some fabulous self-catering accommodation but there are usually 1 or 2 niggles. Not so with Tigh Hahn. Only thing I would change is the location of main bedroom.

TIgh Bhan is a well appointed, homely and comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring the island, close to amenities and a couple of minutes walk from the Glen Forsa Hotel which serves good food. The views from the cottage are stunning and we were lucky to see beautiful sunsets during our holiday. The dog friendly garden is large and secure and there are walks straight from the door. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage is spacious and impeccably clean. The kitchen has absolutely every utensil you could need and we were nice and cosy. would return again

A lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay, well furnished and very well equipped. An excellent position to explore the whole island which is deceptively large. Stunning views over the Sound of Mull from every room in the cottage. Binoculars essential as the wildlife is everywhere. Would love to stay here again in this peaceful cottage.

What a place! Very comfortable cottage and extremely well equipped. The views from the rear of the property are simply stunning, we would definitely recommend bringing going some binoculars with you to enjoy the plentiful wildlife. We couldn't believe it when we saw the stag walking very close by us near the Glenforsa hotel, 2 minute walk. We also enjoyed stunning sunsets. Our dog Bentley was very much at home helped by the large enclosed garden. The location of the property is perfect for exploring the island. The village is Salen is only a 5 minute drive with a well stocked spar shop should you forget or need something. When we return to Mull we would definitely stay here again.

As a party of 4 with 2 dogs we found the cottage fabulous and in a stunning location. The enclosed garden was perfect for relaxing and great for our dogs. We were extremely lucky with the weather and enjoyed the stunning views /sunsets from the cottage. Cottage was well furnished and equally well equipped. We really felt at home and can't wait to return would definitely choose this cottage again.

Second time here and still as beautiful, clean, well equipped with fabulous views. So many birds to see both on and around Mull and out of the kitchen window. Even an otter swam past one morning while having our breakfast!
One of the planes flew past at sunset one evening - what a photo that made.
Hedgehog in garden, red breasted merganser and great northern divers also from kitchen window.
The sunsets were so beautiful, you completely forgot what time it was, as you keep rushing out to take 'just one more picture'
Thank you for a relaxing time.

Absolutely love this property. Perfect location and well equipped with anything you might want. This was my second visit and won't be my last. Love chilling in the garden and watching the wildlife and the odd plane. A visiting stag putting his head over the garden fence on the last morning really topped off the perfect holiday.

Superb cottage with an outstanding view, that was hard to tear ourselves away from . Take binoculars and or a telescope !! Lovely to watch the wildlife , the shipping and the sunsets. The garden was secure and perfect for Bramble to pootle around in.
We were warm and cosy, and kitchen is well equipped, so we were happy to bring food home, so that we could enjoy the view.
Very quiet most of the time, the airfield is not a nuisance, just adds interest. We had two planes an an air ambulance the week we were there.
The central location is perfect for exploring the island. We hope to return, and very soon.

Views from all the rooms up the Sound of Mull were captivating, and always changing with the weather and the tide. Weekend activity along the airfield was entertaining, and never intrusive, best viewed from the picnic table on the sunny patio with an evening glass or two. The cottage was peaceful, comfy and homely without feeling cluttered. Holly enjoyed the walks along the coastline either way, which were lovely in the early morning, and evenings. As first-timers on Mull we enjoyed the central island location, as we had reasonable journeys for days out to Tobermory, Ulva, Dervaig and Iona. All-in-all very splendid.
