The cottage was lovely. Well equipped, comfortable, quiet, a short walk from the attractions of Tobermory and had parking for our cars. We really enjoyed staying there for a week.

We had a terrific stay here as a family of 3. Both bedrooms were light and airy, quiet and the beds were very comfortable with quality linen. Downstairs had a two sofa'd living room where we could relax and catchup on regular TV/DVD/Video as needed. The bathroom seemed new with a bath and rain shower and plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn't find anything we didn't need for our stay. We had cocktails in the back garden breathing in the magnificent vista.
Location was just past the Tobermory War memorial (Easy Google/Waze point) with quick access via steps to town.

Excellent accommodation minutes walk from restaurants and shops. Very clean, cosy, well equipped with absolutely everything you might need (utensils/kitchen equipment/crockery etc looked almost new and of high standard). This was the same luxury and quality throughout the rest of the cottage (nice decor and furniture).
Communication was great with clear details in the welcome pack. Superb bathroom (shower was terrific!) Nice garden and space for cars.
Can't recommend enough, had a great stay, we often use self catering accommodation, this was among the best, hope to come back in a year or so.

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Tobermory and easy to access the whole of the Isle of Mull, if you have your own transport. Oakfield Cottage has everything and more than what you require when on a long stay. More like a home from home. Very clean, very comfortable, and the peace and quiet, no modern day constant humming of noise, only nature. Iain as thought of just about everything required to make your stay on Mull really enjoyable. Highly recommended and would book again.

The house has spacious rooms and the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. We used it in conjunction with Oakfield House, which is ideal for large parties. There is a lovely garden, and the cottage is within easy walking distance of the main street in Tobermory.

A home from home property. We had a lovely week blessed with mainly dry weather. The house is well positioned, private, quiet and just a few minutes walk from the sea front where most of the shops and cafes are. We explored the island from here including Iona....allow a couple of hours to get to the ferry. We managed to see eagles at Calgary Beach (high up) and close up on the Mull Charters boat (along with bottlenose dolphins). A fabulous week thank you.

A beautiful cottage well equipped for your every need. We had a very peaceful relaxing stay and enjoyed every moment. Feels very private but close enough for local shops. A great base for exploring the island.

Great property, far enough out of Tobermory for it to be very peaceful, but close enough to walk to the centre and enjoy all the amenities on offer.

Oakfield Cottage was a very pleasant stay! Very well equipped and easy walking to the Harbour at Tobermory. The only negative point is that the only bathroom is downstairs.

This spacious, comfortable house is much more than a typical ‘cottage’. High ceilings, big windows and a large hallway & staircase make this lovely property feel very grand! Everything you could want plus nice touches like the picnic hamper/cool bag and camping chairs to borrow for days out. Very clean & fresh throughout, comfortable beds and a great location. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Oakfield Cottage is very well equipped, not too far to get down to the Harbour at Tobermoray and blissfully quiet. The weather was not kind to us so it was good to be able to be warm and comfortable in the cottage. Much thought had been put into providing equipment and entertainment.

Conveniently situated a few minutes walk from Tobermory main street, we were impressed by the high level of the accommodation at Oakfield Cottage. The fittings and furnishings are excellent right down to the use of a picnic set and chairs if required. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Mull, you will not be disappointed.

Our first holiday in the cottage was in 1996 and we have returned many times.
Our children and grandchildren have enjoyed many holidays in the cottage. It is close to all the main amenities in Tobermory and not far away from many attractions, including the Aquarium.
The cottage is always clean and is very well equipped.
Plenty of games etc. If it happens to rain during your holiday!

The property is spacious and well equipped. The owner was very helpful in dealing with our queries before we arrived. It is well placed to reach all the facilities in Tobermory. Used in conjunction with Oakfield House, it is ideal for large family groups.

We have just had a very relaxed and fun time over Hogmanay in Oakfield cottage in Tobermory. It worked really well for our family with kids aged 5 and 2. Its got a great location in Tobermory we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay in Oakfield Cottage, which is in a good location in Tobermory. The house is very spacious with excellent furniture, including extremely comfortable beds. If we decided to stay in Tobermory again, we would definitely check to see if Oakfield Cottage is available.

Lovely cottage, maintained to a high standard and very clean and well equipped. Brilliant location, with a five minute walk to the main street. We ate in a couple of evenings and the kitchen is very well equipped for preparing food. Would recommend a stay here.

We have just spent a very enjoyable and relaxing week at this cottage situated above Tobermory harbour. It's a 10 minute walk down a steep road or a 5 minute walk down a footpath to the harbour front. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us with lots of room. It's a home from home really with everything you could wish for in the cottage. The toilet is on the ground floor near the kitchen but that's just quirky. The cottage adjoins a larger house but we saw our neighbours infrequently and there was little noise to be heard. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. Would recommend.

We loved this cottage/house and found it incredibly well equipped, even with salt and pepper grinders and a cafetiere, things often missing elsewhere. The decor and comfort were outstanding and it was cosy even when we had bad weather the first 2 days. The lack of an upstairs toilet is a bit of an issue, especially if like me you are older and need to use a loo during the night, but I had accepted that in advance and grew to quite like the night sky as I went down during the night. Otherwise wonderful in every way.

We had a wonderful break, Oakfield Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable with plenty of parking. The garden was a sun trap with fabulous views. 5 stars from us.

A warm, comfortable, well equipped cottage in an excellent location above Tobermory harbour. One small negative is that the bathroom is downstairs but it wouldn't stop us staying here again.

Well equipped cottage and decorated to a high standard. But the downstairs bathroom was a big negative for us, considering that opposite the main bathroom there is a huge bathroom which has been incorporated into Oakfield House (which is already a massive property). We missed having views out of all the house windows, apart from the large window above the stairwell, which you can only look through by standing on the first floor landing. There were no hooks for hanging jackets in the lobby, apart from some hidden inside the hot water tank cupboard). We are not going to visit the cottage again!

A very comfortable and spacious cottage, in a great location for enjoying all the facilities in Tobermory & touring around Mull.
The cottage is extremely well equipped, they even provide picnic chairs to take out with you, we had fabulous weather so these were a bonus for our beach visits.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay in Oakfield cottage. It is in a lovely position above the harbour which is quick and easy to access. The cottage is very nicely decorated and furnished and everything is of a high quality and very comfortable . The kitchen is well equipped and the main room is spacious. Would highly recommend .

Brilliant cottage. Clean, very comfortable beds, well equipped and in a perfect spot to walk directly into Tobermory. We would happily stay again.

The cottage is extremely comfortable with high quality facilities. The kitchen was very well appointed, with everything necessary to cook all meals if required. A short 7 minute walk downhill to Tobermory village with lovely views on the way. The cottage is cosy, warm and suitable for 2 couples or a family. The one bathroom was more than adequate and came with modern quality fittings. When we had an issue with the television Iain was prompt and extremely helpful and the problem was solved quickly. We would highly recommend without hesitation Oakfield Cottage.

A lovely base..near Tobermory with all the facilities and great arts centre. The house is immaculate, and well equipped. This is my 2nd stay this year which speaks volumes. Communication with Iain is superb and efficient. Really recommend Oakfield Cottage...it feels grander than its name!

We had a week's holiday with our grandson in this lovely, very clean and well kept cottage in Tobermory. From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a great holiday. Everything was spotless and all the rooms are very tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed his time there playing the board games which are in the sitting room. The bathroom too is of a high standard and there was plenty of hot water to enjoy the fine shower. The kitchen has everything you need and is well equipped for a good holiday eating in .

We booked Oakfield Cottage for a family Christmas getaway along with Oakfield House. Oakfield Cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest of standards, comfortable beds, lovely and warm - a must for winter in the Highlands. The shared bathroom is modern, with a fantastic, powerful, hot shower. We did not use the kitchen other than for tea and coffee, but we could see it was well equipped with everything that you would need to prepare food, cook and enjoy food. All in all it was perfect.
