Erraid Apartment gives holidaymakers on Mull the chance to stay in the colourful harbour-front row of buildings that the island is famous for! Located right by the sea on Tobermory’s harbour front, the apartment is situated at Portmore Place – one of Tobermory’s most photographed and iconic coloured buildings. Ulva Apartment is also available in the same building (sleeping three).

Guests climb the steps to enter at the rear to the property and will find the apartment door on the first floor. Once inside, a hallway leads to all the accommodation. The high ceiling in the living room and large windows create a bright and spacious feel, with outstanding views over the sea and harbour toward Calve Island, as well as a picture-postcard view of Tobermory’s harbour.

There is a selection of reading material, television with freeview channels and firestick, radio with Bluetooth and a range of books, along with comfortable sofas and a nice window seat for taking in the views. Binoculars are on hand for spotting otters. The kitchen adjoins the living room in a semi-open plan layout and is well equipped for self-catering, with a dining area and window. Wireless internet access is provided.

The double bedroom in Erraid has the same excellent sea views, plenty of storage and an easy chair. A further bedroom is opposite the double bedroom, which has bunk beds that are great for children, or extra family members (please note, from November 2023 this will become a single bedroom and the bunks be removed). Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. The bathroom is a good size, and large shower unit, basin and w.c.

Erraid is a fantastic holiday apartment furnished with a tasteful mix of period and contemporary furnishings. It provides wonderfully easy access to Tobermory’s many shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. There are also some superb coastal walks to the north and south of the harbour. The closest walk heads along the wooded coast to a lighthouse, where there are outstanding views across the sea toward the Ardnamurchan and Morvern peninsulas.

Heating: The apartment has electric wall panel heaters.
