Our 3rd visit to the Coach House and the house is fabulous as always. Perfect location and very quiet as Duart Castle was closed for the winter season.
Very well equipped and comfortable. We love it.

We have stayed twice this year and it was clean and comfortable both times and very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stays it's a lovely location and very convenient for meals at the Craignure Inn which were beautiful.

Well, what I say about the coach house on arrival this is great, but after settling in the house, it could do with a better clean, there was food left on the carpet and children's toys left in the dining room and bedroom properly left from the last guest's cobwebs in most rooms, and the windows could do with a good clean after all this is one of the reasons we booked the coach house for the views from the sitting room and bedrooms some of the utensils in the kitchen etc. frying pans could with updating there were no food coverings only one toilet roll per bathroom.

The Coach House is in a convenient location and situated in tranquil
grounds. Although the two adjacent properties were occupied, there was no lack of privacy.
Well equipped and spotlessly clean with a good supply of hot water'
    Comfortable seating in the lounge.
Communications from Isle of Mull Cottages were excellent.
As there were only two of us staying in the property there was ample space, and I would expect that even with full occupancy it wouldn't feel overcrowded.
This was our first visit to Mull and we hope to deal with Isle of Mull Cottages again in future.

A lovely spacious property, full of character. Has everything for a comfortable self catering family holiday. Great views out of the master bedroom window. Great location close to ferry terminal but also very peaceful location.

A lovely property in a fantastic location! A few of the soft furnishings could do with a deep clean or replacing but apart from that everything is great. We were so happy with the view from the house and the number of small wild birds around the garden. The location is great for the ferry and for accessing the rest of the island. There was only 2 of us in the house so it was easily spacious enough.

Just returned home from another enjoyable stay in the Coach House it has all you need and is clean and tidy, but must warn you when the log burner is lit you will not want to move its very cosy. I would highly recommend the Coach House and a special mention must go to Pat the housekeeper.

Our second stay at the Coach House and we love it even more! So comfortable and well equipped. Perfect for our needs as we had merlin, hen harrier and white-tailed sea eagle fly through the garden! Beautiful stags at the end of our driveway and an otter in the bay. Location is ideal with superb views across to the castle and a lovely quiet lane to walk down early in the mornings. We had fabulous weather (as we did last year). We have already booked again for next year.

We had a lovely stay in this well equipped and very comfy cottage. As the other reviews say, it’s a perfect base for exploring the Island and particularly for nature lovers. You can walk down to the beach, walk to the castle and only a short drive to the ferry, pub and shop. We would definitely book again if returning to Mull.

Excellent house for a family in superb location for wildlife. Great to have use of an EV charger - there aren't many on Mull! Bedrooms are quite basic but fully functional - though the double bed is on the small side.

What a fabulous property in the most perfect location. Eagles, red deer, otters, siskins, goldcrests and a huge flock of redwings in the garden: couldn't ask for more. The weather was very kind considering it was October - we had blue skies every day. The house was spacious, extremely well equipped and beautifully clean and welcoming. We've just booked the same week next year!

Most wonderful stay. Property perfect for nature lovers. 2 white tailed eagles nesting nearby. Red polls, stonechats, linnets, hooded crows, just a few birds around the property. Felt like home as soon as we arrived. Area so quiet and peaceful. Will be back!

Superb location between the ferry and shops at Craignure and Duart Castle, an easy walk away. Well positioned for day trips to the rest of the island. Excellent wildlife right at the door - red deer, white-tailed eagles, sparrowhawks, kestrels and even once a fly-by by a golden eagle. The Coach House is modern, comfortable and reasonably spacious with all the facilities that you might need, and having two separate bathrooms was a bonus.

Excellent location , 5-10 minutes from ferry port , which is where spar is located if needed. House was large and comfortable for our family of four and 2 bathrooms and downstairs toilet . Kitchen was very well equipped . Highland cows outside our bedroom window our little boy loved and as mentioned eagle nesting in tree opposite. Large cupboard of board games which was great , garden was great outside also and loved the log fire .Found very clean , curtains in bedrooms aren’t great for blocking light out and pillows are very soft but otherwise great , would definitely return :) x

As wildlife lovers and birdwatchers the Coach House was an excellent base, in a great location. It was cosy, clean and well equipped.
A great cottage for extended family or a group of friends with the two bathrooms plus downstairs toilet. We would definitely book again.

Great location on Mull being less than 10 minutes from the Craignure ferry port. Good sized family property, only 1.25 miles from Duart Castle. Perfect for birdwatchers as there’s an active white tailed eagles nest only 300m away which can be viewed from the end of the drive. Perfect escape for peace and quiet. Previous reviews have mentioned deer etc. in the garden but the garden is now totally fenced in so the best we got were rabbits and small garden birds. Not a big deal considering all the surrounding countryside.
It needs a blind on the landing window

A great location, & attractive old house, with nice features, although some fittings are in need of investment. Value for money is fair, & overall, it did the job & we had a great holiday

Great location - as good as anywhere on Mull.
Great garden - good if you like birdwatching.
Coach House badly needs curtains/blinds fitting on some windows, anyone in the main house or studio could see right into the Coach House bedrooms through the landing windows - not good at all.
All the property windows were filthy. Spiderswebs were everywhere.
Nice place & location to stay for a family of 2 adults & 2 kids. - In our opinion it would be very cramped for 6 adults especially the lounge.

We were a group of 5 Birdwatchers and the Coach House provided spacious, comfortable and fully equipped accommodation plus a perfect location and base for our 7 day stay on Mull. The two bathrooms plus additional toilet were especially appreciated by our 'relatively' elderly group. The sea Eagles and nest site only 300 yards away was of course a total bonus.
We would happily recommend the Coach House for a group of up to 6
people , We would also recommend the house to families, as the safe and large lawned area with bar-b-q facilities would be a real plus./
Thank you to the owners and the cleaner and gardener.for making our stay so pleasant.

The Coach House is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped and we reckon it must be in one of the the best locations on the whole of Mull for the combination of privacy but easy access, surrounding scenery and wildlife. We saw eagles, hen harriers, red deer and loads more all in/from the garden. Had a lovely day in doing music in bad weather, loads of sunshine for exploring and I even pushed my ageing knees up Ben Mor. We plan to return!

A very pleasant stay. Property had a really nice feel as soon as we entered. It is in a lovely spot. The accommodation is nicely laid out. Great location for getting around the island. Loads of wildlife interest right on the doorstep.

Great cottage for exploring Mull. Great rooms, lots of space for a family. Plenty of cooking equipment. Easy to get around the island on foot (Dun Da Gaoithe is worth a climb), bikes and car. And although it is really close to the ferry, it's secluded too.
Slight downsides: the seaside/mainland views are hidden by the other cottage, it was too midgey to be outside and there was nowhere to store our bikes out of the rain.

Coach House was perfect for us. We wanted to be off the beaten track rather than amongst other houses. We love wildlife and peace and quiet. Coach house fitted the bill perfectly. We had deer grazing outside the sitting room most nights, sea eagles flying over head and the biggest hedgehog I've ever seen on the driveway.
The accommodation was comfortable and homely. The week came to an end far too quickly. Can't wait for a chance to return - unfortunately found it booked up this year whenever we were able to come.
