Spey Cottage is situated on Breadalbane Street, in the heart of the pretty harbour town of Tobermory, just a short walk from the water. Breadalbane Street is a quiet residential area with characterful old stone cottages lining the street on either side. The town's art centre is also nearby which has a gallery space and cafe (An Tobar).

Things to Do

It is a ten minute walk from the cottage door down to the harbour, where holidaymakers will find lots of shops to browse; places to stop for a pot of tea or seafood lunch; the museum; distillery and lots more to explore. There are coastal paths leading directly from the harbour along the wooded coastline, and there are boat tours and wildlife trips departing from Tobermory during the summer months.

For day trips, there are lots of options from Tobermory. A trip to one of the lovely beaches in the north of the island is a must - Calgary beach, Langamull or Traigh na Cille are great options. Calgary beach is a forty minute drive and there is a tearoom and gallery close to the beach.
