Things to Do
There is much to do in the town itself with a range of shops to peruse and some superb places to eat. The marine harbour centre sits at one end of the bay and the Mull museum is also on the sea front. At either end of the harbour there are footpaths leading off, following the coastline with lovely sea views.
There is an Arts Centre, An Tobar, also within easy walking distance of 14 Victoria Steet and the theatre lies on the outskirts of town with performances during the summer months. There is a great cafe at the Cheese Farm, set in the countryside just outside the town and Aros Park provides walking trails and is great for families and somewhere to have a picnic.
Further afield, Calgary beach is a 30 minute drive away - well known for its lovely sweeping horseshoe bay and easy access. There are lots of other little beaches around the coast of North Mull to explore too and forestry trails for mountain biking.
We would recommend taking a wildlife tour and a boat trip during your stay to see some of Mull's quieter corners and beautiful scenery and to learn about the fantastic marine environment and hopefully see the dolphins, porpoises, whales, seals and otters that live in and around the coast.
