Torr na Locha is situated on the Ross of Mull, three miles from Bunessan on the Ardtun Peninsula. The house is situated in stunning surrounds at the end of a farm track. The track is fairly rough and we would advise four wheel drive access only. At Bunessan there is a pub and local Spar shop. There are many fine, white sandy beaches to visit in the area including those at Ardalanish, Uisken and Knockvologan.
Nearest village: Bunessan (3 miles)

Things to Do
There are wonderful walks round the spectacular Ardtun peninsula from the house, with views up the west coast of Mull, Staffa, The Treshnish Isles, Coll and Tiree. The Ross of Mull and Iona offer some truly great coastal walks and 20 minutes back up the road at the head of Loch Scridain there are plenty of mountain walks, including Ben More, the only island Munro (over 3000 feet) apart from Skye. There are many fine little beaches in this area and several small crofting townships.
Torr na Locha is situated in 25 acres of working croft land, with a rocky beach, pond, woodland, fields and a small hill behind the house which in a short walk leads to one of the best view points on the west coast.
Fionnphort is just 9 miles away. From here there are regular boat trips out to Iona, renowned for its tranquility and natural beauty, to Staffa with its basalt columns and Fingal's cave, and to the Treshnish islands - an archipelago of small islands, with unique landscape and birdlife.
