We enjoyed the house but the location was too remote for us. While the pub is within walking distance for some, others may find it more of a trek especially in the erratic weather we experienced.
The house is spacious and comfortable and the games room was a win for the kids - views are breathtaking.
We felt the price warrants some attention to the bathrooms - we saw masking tape hanging off a skirting board in one, gaps between tiles and shower tray where sealant is missing, extractor fans clogged with dust and clear evidence of painted tiles in another with a patch still unpainted.

Torrbreac is a very well appointed home in a beautiful location. It is very spacious and comfortable; with the huge kitchen/dining room and living room being open plan. Stepping out into the patio to look down on Loch Cuin was just glorious too. The bedrooms were all good sized and plenty of bathrooms too, which was great. We played table tennis, walked in the Quinish estate, ate seafood at the piece box, did the pub quiz, swam off Calgary beach, went to Ulva and Tobermory and thoroughly enjoyed northern Mull, always keen to return to out beautiful bolt hole. Loved it, we will come back.

We had a brilliant few days at Torrbreac! The kids loved the space the house offered, especially the garden! The setting of the house is absolutely stunning and we were very lucky to have some great weather to enjoy the views! The walks in the surrounding area of the house were beautiful and the shore was easily accessible (we were able to enjoy some paddle boarding!) We would happily recommend this house to others looking for a tranquil escape!

This property is perfect for families and pets. The house is spacious with everything you need for a home from home. The garden area is lovely with activities for children. Dervaig is a short walk away with shop and pub. Plenty of eating out opportunities close by and also an amazing pop up take away in the village hall. Highly recommend this property.

Torrbreac is a comfortable and really well equipped house in a beautiful location with stunning views. The village of Dervaig is within walking distance with an exceedingly well stocked shop and pub. There are lots of possibilities for walks in the area and an excellent restaurant, An Birlinn, which is only four miles away. We had a most enjoyable week and would highly recommend this house.

This is an impressive, comfortable and well equipped house in an excellent location. We enjoyed the spacious facilities and the easy access to the village for supplies, pub etc. The walks into the Quinish estate are on your doorstep and the bay at Calgary is just a short drive away. Highly recommended.

We loved the house and its location. The house is exceedingly well equipped and very comfortable. It is light, spacious and relaxing. Everything one might need has been provided. The beds are first class.
It is in a beautiful setting , close to the village of Dervaig and its excellent pub/restaurant, The Banchory Arms. There are many walks in the area; the walk to Quinish Point, starting almost outside the house, is very varied and leads to magnificent views across the sea to mountains and islands.
We greatly enjoyed our week at Torrbreac and warmly recommend it.
