Absolutely loved our stay, quiet, peaceful location stunning views, great walks from the doorstep fell in love with the place!

The Sea Shanty is the perfect place to relax. Carla has made sure you have everything you need for a cosy comfortable stay in the beautifully designed and well equipped Shanty, perfectly positioned looking towards the sea and the Isle of Iona. The evening sunsets were glorious during the week we stayed, and the birdlife right outside the door kept us entertained too. The most relaxing holiday we’ve had!

The Sea Shanty is the perfect place to relax. We had a very wet & stormy week on Mull but The Sea Shanty was a perfect bolthole. Beautifully finished with everything you need & lovely views. We did manage to use the hot tub which was lovely & warm. Such a beautiful area with lots of walks straight out the door. Highly recommend.

The sea shanty was such a cosy place to stay. There was everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. It was just nice to sit and read and look at the views. Carla and John were great hosts. We got one of their breakfast hampers which was delicious beautiful fresh local food. Everyone we spoke to were so friendly and helpful

Absolutely fantastic place and Carla was a wonderful host , would recommend the Sea Shanty to anyone and the sunset views from the top of the Quarry are really something else !

Staying in this tiny, but beautifully curated holiday home was a treat from start to finish. Eating breakfast with Whitethroats and Goldfinches playing outside, a Hen Harrier fly past and a Wren peeping in through the open door. What more could anyone wish for.

Loved our stay at The Sea Shanty. It was exactly as described. Really well equipped to a very high standard. Owners on site, if needed, gave us a number of helpful tips about the area. Loved the views from the hot tub. Also ate at the restaurant, Ninth Wave, which was amazing

We absolutely loved our week at the Sea Shanty. To be able to open the doors of the cabin, look out to the ever changing views, and just soak in the peace and stillness was magical. The walks right on the doorstep are great for the mind, body and soul and we loved spending time in the hot tub afterwards. Mull itself is breathtaking with every corner you turn, it really is a place to reset and remind yourself what’s important in life. Carla and Johnny are great hosts, just next door if you need them but leave you be if not.
The Sea Shanty has given us special memories to take home. Thank you.

What a lovely place, we loved everything about the Sea Shanty. Stayed for a week but would of liked to stay longer. One of the nicest and most relaxing holidays we've had. Thank you Carla and John and of course The Isle of Mull what a beautiful place.

The sea shanty is gorgeous it was clean & tidy & the extra little touches were very welcoming. The location is great for a 15 minute walk down to the local shop, pub, & Creel sea food bar, all of which are good for food. The local area is great for walks & the beaches are lovely & the hot tub fantastic afterwards. Carla & Johnny were both lovely too. We would happily stay again.

Warm welcome and treats from Carla to this lovely, cosy retreat, full of quirky touches. Glorious views across to Iona and fabulous stars at night. A welcome hot tub after a day of walking. Highlight was a lunch at Ninth Wave with fresh produce from Jonno's boat and the croft all beautifully cooked and presented by Carla. A very special place.

We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly located shanty. Beautiful views, warm and welcoming hosts, and a well stocked kitchen with some treats. It was a great location for us to go hiking and swimming all over Mull and it was a dream coming back to the hot tub after a full day of hiking and swimming. There are plenty of walks nearby and it was good to be able to walk to the village (10mins) to get the ferry to Iona island. There's a lovely sandy beach not far from the shanty that we had all to ourselves each time we went there. It was a very cosy stay.

Fantastic welcome from two wonderful warm and attentive hosts. Carla and Johnny were full of great ideas for what do on the island. The Sea Shanty was immaculate with stunning views from the lounge and hot tub. Their rewilded croft brings an abundance of birdlife to your doorstep. Make sure you book well in advance to try some of Carla;s cooking at their Ninth Wave Restaurant. We got lucky when someone else cancelled but we won't leave it to chance next time. Relaxed, refreshed and recharged.

Luxuriate! Luxuriate! Luxuriate! From arrival to departure prepare to be wowed by the beauty of the Sea Shanty with all it personal touches and quirks. Carla is a wonderful host who has anticipated your every need whether its sunglasses for the jacuzzi, fizz in the fridge, coffee or home made chocolates its all there for you to enjoy. And enjoy it we did in plenty.

The Sea Shanty is a dreamy getaway perfect for those seeking sanctuary. The breath taking views from this beautifully designed cabin grab you as you approach the front door. Inside the carefully curated lounge space is straight out of a glossy magazine. Just right for relaxing after beachcombing. Everything is of the highest spec, from the waterfall shower, the sumptuously soft bedding, to the well stocked kitchen. The hot tub adds to the five star hotel experience.
