This lovely self-catering property is indeed a joy to explore, with the porch providing the perfect place to start your journey, where you can kick off your boots and hang up your coat. The clever blend of contemporary furnishings and vintage pieces in this property is evident from the outset, and continues throughout this unique place to stay.
As you enter the master bedroom, a grand king sized bed awaits you, backed by a bespoke, carved wooden vine leaf headboard; but the showstopper is a large claw foot bath, beautifully framed in the tin ‘shed’ alcove. Subtle lighting and a draped curtain makes it a wonderfully relaxing space in which to enjoy a long soak at the end of the day. Original artworks add the finishing touches to this impressive room and there is plenty of storage for all your belongings.
The en-suite bathroom is very well appointed with a shower unit, stone hand basin and w.c. Some luxury toiletries and local soaps are provided too, along with gorgeous fluffy bath towels and bath salts.
The main living space is a wonderfully light, open plan room that incorporates the kitchen, seating area and dining space. The row of windows overlook the grounds and woodland of Druimard House, with views to the waters of Loch Cuin below. A comfortable leather sofa is provided, as well as a flame effect electric ‘wood stove’. There are a good range of books, as well as a television and reliable wi-fi connection to help plan your next day. Again, the room is beautifully finished, with feature wallpaper from Cole & Son and objet d'art to tie the potting shed 'theme' together, it makes for a luxurious and memorable place to stay. Perfect for that romantic break.
The fitted kitchen is a well designed space and well equipped with all you need for preparing a lunch or evening meal. The dining table and chairs are positioned to take advantage of the views, and this is an ideal space to enjoy breakfast and your morning coffee.
The Potting Shed is part of Drumaird House and shares the same location as the Old Little Theatre, but is situated at one end of the house and has its own entrance, so guests can enjoy privacy. There is a private parking space and outdoor seating area which is for the Potting Shed’s guests exclusive use.
Located within the village of Dervaig on Mull’s north coast, guests are able to walk into the village to enjoy a meal at the Inn (the oldest on Mull), pick up some groceries from the excellent village shop, or enjoy breads and pastries from Dervaig Artisan Bakery. A little further afield, Am Birlinn restarurant specialised in local produce and is licensed and able to provide a courtesy bus. Ballygown restaurant is another fantastic place to eat, within 20 minutes drive.
Travelling by car Calgary beach is 15 minutes away, and is one of Mull’s most beautiful white sandy beaches. You can continue on to explore the wild and stunningly beautiful west coast too. Tobermory, Mull’s main town is 20 minutes away and offer a wide choice of eateries and shopping experiences to enjoy. Boat trips depart from Ulva ferry and Tobermory exploring Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, as well as offering whale watching trips.

Outside Space: The Potting Shed is part of Druimard House with its own private entrance. Just outside The Potting Shed is a patio area and table and chairs for use of The Potting Shed guests.
