Fantastic house in a superb location. Never been in another holiday let that was as well appointed and provided. Just superb. Isle of Mull Cottages are also a well run and excellent letting agency.

A superb vacation cottage, perfectly located for walking excursions or further exploration of this idyllic corner of the Ross of Mull. Unreserved recommendation.

Great location with easy access to a shop and several good places to eat all within a short walk from the house. Also just a few hundred yards for the ferry to Iona and the boat trips to Staffa. Good for easy walks to Fidden, Loch Pottie and around the village.

Excellent in every respect- perfect location, tastefully decorated, well equipped, sparkling clean, stunning views, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful hosts. I’m feeling very grateful for the opportunity to spend another week exploring my favourite part of the world, close to white sandy beaches, pink granite rocks, beautiful sunsets and wildlife all around. This time returning each evening to our base at Solas na Greine was the icing on the cake. Thank you, we would love to return one day.

This must be one of the best equipped and cleanest Scottish houses we've stayed in. Everything worked, the furniture wasn't worn out, the kitchen still had suitable utensils in it, and the WiFi actually worked.
The views across to Iona from the living room are lovely, we often just sat there and watched it all. You can walk to the local beach, but there are much better ones a short drive away.

Fabulous house and location. When we weren't out and about we spent all our time in the sun lounge just relaxing and admiring the views!
We only used our car 1 day out of the 7 to visit Ardalanish Bay, not to be missed, and Kintra. We made the most of the amazing walks from the door, local beaches, boat trips to the Treshnish Isles and Iona ferry just a few minutes walk away. One of the most relaxing and chilled out stays I have had on Mull. Absolutely loved it and wouldn't hesitate booking the same cottage again.

Superb house, amazing views of Iona, gorgeous sunsets, excellent weather 6/7, close to ferry, awesome trip to Staffa to see the cave and puffins, funny, wonderful boggy walks, huge climb up Ben More, worth the climb as the views were incredible, lovely meals at Keels, so lucky to have found such a beautiful place. Thank you for renting your pad out!

Wow, what a lovely place to stay! Great views over to Iona and the channel. So much to see each day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped. It's a great base to explore the Ross and all the fantastic beaches. You can walk to the ferry to Iona in minutes. Also in walking distance is the Creel Shack for seafood and the Keel Row pub, which is very good for a warm welcome and very nice food. A great place to stay!!

Lovely well-equipped warm house. We barely used the car once there - many gorgeous walks from the house whether via the ferry to Iona or round the Ross of Mull.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Solas na Greine. The property has everything you need, and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. The house is situated in a breathtaking position with wonderful views over to Iona. We had a brilliant stay, helped further by the dry and sunny weather we were lucky to have. We hope to be back again!

we are repeat visitors and find the location, amenities, the size of the house and just having everything at hand ideal. We travel with our two little boys who enjoy wandering down to the beaches and we enjoy the beautiful view over to Iona from the house. Highly recommend.

Solas na Greine was a fantastic holiday cottage. Comfortable, and with everything we needed. Great views, walks, convenient for Iona, highland cows, eagles if you're lucky as well as help and advice on hand from Neil, Angela and the four boys if required. I would also recommend a trip to Staffa with Staffa Trips on Iolaire. Thank you we had a super stay.

We loved our stay at Solas and Greine cottage. The cottage is in a great location and the views from within are awesome. Very warm and welcoming on arrival with everything in the house you could need.
You might be lucky enough to get up close with the resident highland cows, they literally walk up the street right outside the cottage. Just amazing.

Great holiday home in a wonderful location. We had a lovely week in this well equipped house and did not want to leave. Thoroughly enjoyed not having to use the car much as there was so much we could do on foot right from the house. The owner was in touch both before and after our holiday to check everything was fine which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We would love to return to Solas na Greine in the not too distant future.

We had a fantastic time staying here. The rooms are spacious and well decorated/furnished. There is effective central heating as well as an open fire with lighters, kindling and coal provided. The kitchen had eveything we needed and included salt, pepper, oil etc. The house is well situated with views over to Iona and only a 5 minute walk to the Iona ferry. We spent week exploring the remote but stunning coastlines of Iona and the Ross of Mull.

We totally loved our stay in Solas na Greine. A fabulous property and location. Everything you needed in terms of house contents with lovely touches such as dishwasher tablets and washing tablets there for you to use. Easy walk to the shop, ferry to Iona and trip to Staffa. Cannot recommend staying here highly enough.
