A beautiful and cosy cottage. Local wildlife aplenty with stunning scenery and we were very lucky with the weather. Highly recommend.

A fantastic week in the Old Post Office, made even better by the Mull car rally which passed the cottage three times over two days which we didn't know about when we booked, we were informed about road closures a couple of weeks before departure, it was excellent especially at night. Caroline and her partner were very helpful giving advice on the best place to view and the timings of the rally.
The cottage itself was spotless and very comfortable with everything that you could need, the welcome gifts were a nice touch too.
Other highlights were a trip to Staffa and Iona, highly recommended.

A lovely cottage, beautifully presented. A perfect setting for a reunion of a family that had wonderful times on Mull as children.

We have driven past this cottage on several occasions so now delighted to say we have stayed here and it was a delightful stay. Surrounding area lovely too and being woken up in the morning with the animals round about was a change to our normal. My daughter loved it.
Would highly recommend a stay in this stunning little cottage. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Very comfortable and well provided cottage in beautiful location. Made use of recently opened shop and pub in nearby village. Abundant wildlife in the vicinity. Great for walking and cycling.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful house. Great location on Loch Scridain. Well equipped kitchen, beds very comfortable. Lamb born in the garden, finally made it to the Burg tree, otters, sea-eagles. Caroline the house keeper was on hand. Thank you very much loved it

Everything about the Old Post Office is absolutely charming. We LOVED it!
The decor is beautiful, not in the least overstated, ornaments tasteful and not cluttered or overdone.
Very comfortable, good quality furnishings.
We can't wait to come back again!

The Old Post Office was a wonderful place to stay. We were a family of 5 adults and were all very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed, the house was warm and clean, great beds and good WiFi. Nearby walks are stunning, loved MacKinnons cave. It is very isolated, so come with pretty much everything you need as the shop in Salen is a 40 minute drive. Would certainly recommend the house and be keen to stay again.

In a quite setting, this lovely cottage is about an hours drive from Tobermory or Fionnphort. Well equipped the cottage was immaculately clean. The Caretaker, Caroline, was very professional and quick to sort out the TV/remote connection for us. Agree with other reviews, the sitting room is fine for 4 adults but would be too small for 6. The property would also benefit from a judicial declutter of the numerous and oversized ornaments which overwhelm the lounge and sunroom.

The cottage was in a lovely setting, spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. A great base for exploring south of Mull and seeing lots of wildlife. We were fortunate to benefit from lovely new garden furniture and Caroline, the housekeeper, made sure we felt very welcomed.

Lovely stay, Property is very well equipped although would have been nice to have a BBQ.
Lucky with the weather - 20+ every day so lots of beach days at Uisken, Iona and Calgary. Walked to "the bench" to see "our family of otters" every day.
This is one of the rare properties in the portfolio that isn't on the main "drag" around the Island so whilst it didn't have floor to ceiling glass windows with immediate sea views, the condition of the property and lack of traffic, made up for it. Excellent location if you want access to everything but also not to see many people driving by.

As per the previous review. This is a well presented cottage in a picturesque location. The property is clearly very well maintained and well equipped although I would suggest that the garden furniture needs updating / replacing. The only other point of note is that the lounge area only has seating for four, which although not an issue for us (x2 couples) might be an issue for a party of six. Mull is a beautiful island and the wildlife did not disappoint. We were fortunate to see Otter, Golden Eagles and Sea Eagles all from the property.

Lovely cozy cottage in a quiet situation. Nicely furnished but not enough seating in the lounge for 6 guests. Also the garden furniture is disgusting and should be replaced. Apart from that it was great! Caroline the house keeper is a star and the bird life in the garden was Amazing!

The house was just as we hoped / expected . The location is marvellous. It was very well prepared for our arrival

We agree with previous comments. A beautiful and comfortable place to stay and Mull alsways comes up with the goods as far as the wildlife goes. We were helped by the best consistent weather we have ever experienced in our trips to Mull. Nothing beats the beaches of Iona on a sunny day. A little remote for places to eat out for dinner but none the worse for that.

Stayed with family for a 50th birthday celebration, the cottage was immaculately clean on arrival and the location is amazing. Well equipped with everything you need, comfortable and cozy, gorgeous bedrooms. As a previous review commented the lounge is a little small but didn’t make too much impact on us. Lots of wildlife spotted, the short walk to what we called “otter bench” as the sun goes down is a must, eagles seen most days and lots of deer. Owl spotted in the trees around the garden and lots of lambs born while we were there. A trip to Iona is well worth it, a beautiful island.

We loved our stay in your spacious, stylish cottage. A great location for walking, wildlife spotting and ferry trips. So picturesque. The charming caretaker couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent.

Beautiful cottage for our holiday on Mull. Everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen in particular was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. It had a lovely homely feel to the property. We informed the caretaker of 2 broken kitchen chairs and no mirror for one of the bedrooms on our arrival and she went away to take care of them immediately, so no complaints from us. She was also very helpful and told us where to go to see some lovely things on the island. Looking to return in the not too distant future.

The perfect place to spend our week in Mull. Beautifully furnished and equipped throughout, the Old Post Office is a real treat.
Sea Otters round to the left in the Loch, Seals in the bay in front! Easy to reach the whole island, and an incredibly peaceful spot. Make sure you take a walk round the bay and up to the Whitetail distillery too, perfect spot to sample a large G&T!

As always we had a lovely stay in Mull, and we were blessed with some fabulous weather and wildlife sightings too. The house was very clean and smart, with some lovely furnishings. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. There was plenty of room downstairs in the kitchen and utility areas, our only slight critique was that the sitting room was a little small for four of us. However it was warm, cosy and very spacious everywhere else. More importantly it is in a stunning part of Mull, so a perfect base from which to explore the island.
