The property had everything we needed. It was nice to stay somewhere with comfortable beds. There were a few TLC issues but nothing that stopped us enjoying our stay and feeling very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Dervaig. Lovely house and location. Nice cosy living room but sofa has a few stains. Beds were very comfortable. We found the house too warm especially at night when trying to sleep. Kitchen was ok, but needs a few things replacing and cleaning. However, as a five star property we felt the same as the people who stayed in September,it was in need of a little TLC in places, internally and externally.
The outside of the property was looking a little tired.
Loved the rabbits and deer at the end of the driveway.
Pub, shop and Old Byre cafe all good and staff very friendly.

Lovely house and location. Like other comments, the rabbits were very entertaining from the cosy living room. Loved using the log burner on the cold nights. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was ok. However, as a five star property we felt it was in need of a little TLC in places, internally and externally. The decking at the front of the property was poor and quite dangerous as some pieces need replacing. The chairs were plastic and poor quality. The outside of the property was looking a little tired.

Fabulous, comfortable, well-equipped house in a lovely, peaceful location.
Several excellent walks straight from the property.
Tobermory and Calgary Bay both within a 20 minute drive - great location for exploring the northern half of the island.
Note: due to the nature of the single track roads (which are part of the charm of Mull) it will take a minimum of 2 hours to drive to Fionnphort.
The Bellacroy Hotel in Dervaig serves very good food.
Ar Bord restaurant (in a private house just above Dervaig is excellent.
Saw golden and white-tailed eagles and an otter.
Good weather, few midges = ????

Beautiful well equipped house in a good location. Perfect for families with plenty of room within property.
We were very disappointed with the lack of outdoor seating. We had two plastic chairs and one very old hard wooden chair between the group staying in the property. This is the only thing that let the house down.

Lovely location.
Garden full of rabbits and we saw deer at the end of the drive most days.
Could have done with some garden furniture to sit outside.

We have been to Mull over many years but not stayed in the North. Mucmara Lodge delivered in every way ! Beautiful setting, so warm and cosy, and superb bedding too ! Everything we could wish for, a home quite obviously well looked after which is just lovely. Walks from the door superb for us and our dog ! wonderful. We will absolutely return - in a heartbeat !

Beautiful lodge. We loved the open plan living area and there was plenty of communal and private space. Everything you need is there. We would definitely return.

Mucmara Lodge is simply beautiful. The whole property is well looked after and the facilities are ideal, everything we could have wanted was provided for. The layout of the property is perfect, bedrooms at one end to provide privacy and the open plan living area at the other end, which gives the property a welcoming and social feel. The grounds are amazing for walking the dogs and the views are spectacular from these walks. Our week’s stay was not long enough and we would certainly love to come back again!

Stunning location, large well equipped house with excellent parking. Some comfortable outside seating would be beneficial. An ideal house for families or friends to holiday together. Utility room ideal for drying. Beautiful walks straight from door. The Bellachroy does delicious bar food as does Calgary Gallery cafe for coffee and cake.

This was our first visit to Mull, and Mucmara Lodge was the most wonderful base from which to enjoy every single moment of our stay. It is warm and spacious, and very nicely equipped throughout. Beautiful walks are on the doorstep, and a superb friendly pub and very good village stores are close by. The rabbits and birds greeted us each morning.

What a great house! Perfect for our first Mull experience. We walked and cycled to Quinish Point and spotted Minke Whale and after a few days a Sea Eagle. Lovely to have walks and paths to explore without using the car. Great place to explore the island from. Well appointed accommodation, warm, cosy, nicely decorated and everything you need for a self catered week away. We used the pub in the village a couple of times, lovely staff and great menu. Tobermory only 20 mins drive away. We managed to see everything on our list, an otter on day 5 and a pair of Golden Eagles on our last day.

A very comfortable, warm and cared for property. The housekeeper does an excellent job. This is the best large property we have hired on the Isle of Mull and the setting is both tranquil and interesting.

Wow - what a fabulous cottage! Thoughtfully & tasteful decorated throughout, extremely comfortable and very warm! Our 3rd visit to Mull and definitely our favourite cottage so far. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. This cottage has everything - not one of the cheapest but worth paying the extra for. Would definitely return

A 60th birthday party week in a stunning location, very comfortable and very clean. Had a fantastic time on the Isle of Mull saw so much fantastic wildlife - will certainly be back.

The house is amazing and is in a beautiful setting. It was our 4th time to the island but the first time in Dervaig and it didn’t disappoint. We took our bikes with us and cycled for miles, around the Quinish estate and around and about locally. We spotted eagles overhead around the house and over the loch and forest trails, and watched an Osprey dive down for a fish at the head of the loch, we just couldn’t spot the elusive otters!
