This was our second stay at the property and again it was a fantastic! The house is stunning and spacious with amazing views and the bonus of being within walking distance of a pub! We had 8 adults staying and it was perfect. Will definitely stay there again!

The most wonderful stay. The house was outstanding so spacious and comfortable with amazing views. We love Mull but had never been to this beautiful part of the Island with fantastic beaches and such a feeling of remoteness even though we were in Bunessan.
Everything provided in the house is of the highest quality. Everything we needed for 4 adults ( 2 over 80) and two children was there. Thanks so much for sharing this magical place.

What an incredible place! The views are stunning and the house itself is beautiful, luxurious and incredibly comfortable. We had fantastic weather all week (no midges, no rain) and did some great walks including to the Fossil Tree. We visited Ulva and the very special Lip Na Cloiche, then did a trip to Staffa to see the wonderful puffins and Fingal's Cave. A walk on Iona, bbq on one of the Knockvologan beaches and the most stunning sunsets from the house. What more could you want? Book it!

We booked this house for a special occasion. It easily accommodated 3 couples and 2 dogs. Superb house. Well kitted out. So warm. Views are stunning. Beaches galore close by. Herd of deer in the field below. Weather was so kind to us, the sun just shone and shone. Dogs loved the garden. Iona is a must. Whoever built this house built a gem. Thank you!!

The house is the perfect base to explore all of the beautiful beaches and walks of Mull. The story of the design and build is just wonderful! It is cosy, clean and practical and the view from the dining area is so special. Each night it was so peaceful to sleep and the bedding is so comfortable. Even if you may be unlucky with the weather, there is a vast selection of games to play next to the fire! Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return next year.

We had a great stay in a fantastic house. We watched the bird life and said good morning to the sheep everyday. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely house in a stunning location. There is so much to do around Bunessan, we cycled for miles, around Ardtun, to the beautiful local beaches, stopping off at the Ardalanish weavers, to Fionnphort, taking the bikes across to Iona. We saw the Sea Eagles at Loch Assapol & Otters at Pennygael. Further afield the Old Post Office was a great trip out for a delicious lunch. Back at the house we were able to fully relax and simply take in the view, across the hills, watching the Hen Harriers, the Red Deer and the numerous garden birds hopping along the wall. All in all a fabulous two weeks.

It’s a long old trek to Mull from Worcester but it was worth when we arrived. What a beautiful house in an amazing location. We came to relax and fish, Andy fished, I relaxed and cooked up a storm in the lovely kitchen. The location is so quiet and the bedrooms so comfortable we slept like babies. Highly recommended by us if you’re looking for modern luxury with fabulous views.

It was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to book somewhere special, this holiday home delivered that in spades. Seven adults & one dog stayed and there was plenty of space to eat, play games, chill & relax and have some down time. Views were amazing, beaches were of Caribbean standard and the EV car charger was an added extra. Easy walking distance to the pub. If you’ve come across this holiday home then look no further. 5 stars wasn’t enough

AMAZING - this property is simply stunning, so spacious and well thought out. As a group of kayakers, it was perfect to have somewhere to dry and store our kit, then eat together and chill reflecting on an amazing days paddle, while watching the sunset. The property is very well equipped, and immediately felt like home, totally putting away the angst of our ferry being cancelled and the extra 105 miles we had to drive! We loved it and shall return, thank you.

A group of us stayed at this property as part of a pilgrimage to Iona. A truly stunning property with magnificent views. You can sit in silence and look at the hills all day rain or shine. Downstairs is good for sitting and sharing. Bedrooms are great with en suite facilities. We loved it.

Beautiful place for us to celebrate a family birthday. The house was magnificent, a real home from home, in a stunning location. It had everything you could need with a great open plan space downstairs for socialising. The dining area was lovely for family meals. The views from the property were spectacular and we enjoyed the table tennis too! Nice large entrance area for all the coats and boots. Dog towel, treats and poo bags appreciated! Beautiful beaches nearby and we even managed some chilly sea swims! Would definitely return again.

We have had an absolutely wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. It feels like a real home from home with every comfort thought of and provided for. The views are breathtaking and we have never stayed anywhere which gave us such a feeling of peace and tranquility. It is a perfect base for exploring all the wonderful things that Mull - and the surrounding islands like Staffa have to offer. We will most certainly be coming back to this gorgeous house and will recommend it to all our friends.

A fabulous house in an amazing setting.
All furnishings and equipment of the highest standard. The house had absolutely everything you could need for a most comfortable stay. Attention to detail was exceptional. The barn attached had a full size table tennis table giving extra entertainment to all ages. Mull itself is a perfect place for walking, relaxation and exploring , the scenery is breathtaking.

A beautiful modern house with the most stunning views from nearly every window. The house itself has been filled with everything you could possibly need for a stay in such wonderful surroundings. The kitchen although extremely modern was easy to use in order to provide delicious meals. It had ample crockery and cutlery that was brand new. The property has four large bedrooms with en-suite facilities that always seem to have an abundance of hot water. The owners provided excellent bedding and large soft fluffy towels , The whole stay in this outstanding property was 5 star.

Location good. Property is not pet friendly or if you have mobility issues or young children as the stairs are a problem. Its stark with no rugs. No cleaning products, no firelighters, no kindling, no washing powder and its freezing. There are limiters on the radiators. The main bathroom upstairs was freezing and heated towel rail didnt work. The fire had to go on each morning to get warm even with jumpers on. We paid a huge amount for pets and then were told after we cleaned the property for some time we couldn't come back as pet hairs etc

By Lauren stayed in April 2023

Editor's Note: Thank you for your feedback Lauren. The kindling should have been there and the owners will address that for guests going forward. The images do show the furnishings/stairs etc. We could have helped with the heating, had you called during your stay

If you are looking for a Grand Design House in the most idyllic location in the world , this property is for you!!! Great views, open plan living and large cosy bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. If you want to relax and just look at the views, trek up Ben More or put on you trunks and take a dip in 4 Deg C sea, then Mull does not disappoint. Beaches that take your breath away, isolation from people if you want it or local music in a local friendly pub. Mull awaits and we will be back to Mor-aoibhneas soon come rain or shine!

This was a really beautiful place to bring in the new year with family and friends. So well designed with stunning views from every window. The light - even at this time of year- was perfect for photography. We even had a stag visit the garden . The house was also so cosy for such a modern space. It was also very near to some of the most beautiful beaches in Mull. Dog treats and dog towel a lovely touch too.

A stunning, architect designed house that is as comfortable to stay in as it is beautiful.
Spectacular views, and a lovely, calm space to relax and unwind- but also a fantastic location to enjoy Mull from.
We loved our stay at Mor Aoibhneas.
We swam, cycled, walked and went beach combing on many of the quiet silver sands- what an enchanting place.
Amazing wildlife. Saw eagles, porpoises, and the local hedgehog on her evening trundle through the garden.
    We’ll be back !
