Beautifully laid out to maximise the stunning location, with floor-to-ceiling views over the ever-changing bay. Feels like a holiday home, rather than a rental, with fab art from the owners themselves,, really lovely, eclectic collection of crockery etc, as well as a whole chest of boardgames. We absolutely loved it.
Underfloor heating and Everhot oven keep things super cosy, never needed the lovely wee woodburner, even at end of October.
Bunessan pub + Spar + great wee chippy less than a 5 minute drive, stunning beaches close by

A lovely warm, comfortable cottage in a beautiful situation at the edge of the loch. Very well equipped and well situated for exploring the South of the island and Iona. Very useful information provided by the owner. We loved our stay at Cherrybank.

Brilliant views from this extremely comfortable and well equipped converted cottage. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Great place for relaxing, cooking, watching the weather, and as a base for trips in south of island.

We have visited Mull six times and this is our favourite house and location so far.
Beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfortable and impossibly pretty views and sunsets. Paddle boarding on the loch, and seeing at Otter and Seals were highlights. Great location for visiting our favourite beaches from as well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Incredible cottage in a beautiful area of an amazing island. The cottage has everything you can think of, with a feel of home comfort. From the well laid out lounge area you can sit and watch the world through the wide glass frontage. And when the weather was warm enough we enjoyed many a glass of wine on the decked area and seating, the sunsets were stunning! Locally there are some brilliant walks and beaches (all well described in the book the owner has carefully put together) and trips further afield are so worth it, particularly Staffa, Tobermory and Iona! What a lovely cottage stay!

Wow! What a cottage on an incredible island. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the view from the lounge was a highlight of the trip. If you love nature, it's all laid out for you to enjoy: wading birds, white-tailed sea eagles and seals, all from the comfort of a sofa. The sunsets and night skies (with no light pollution) are never to be forgotten. Loved the artwork and kitchen. When you can drag yourself away, the island is packed with beautiful beaches and dramatic scenery. Iona is a must. Pamela is a fabulous host making sure your holiday runs smoothly.

Absolutely stunning spot. We watched sunsets every night and found loads of fabulous beaches all within a few miles. The stars on a clear night were also amazing. Saw loads of birds too from the cottage.

A beautifully converted cottage, comfortable and wam with a great view across the bay. It's close to the water and a joy to watch the changing tides and light. We were lucky with some fine weather and enjoyed exploring this special part of Mull.
Thanks to Pamela for welcoming communications, and to Dan next door who helped us get our car started! We do hope to return to Cherrybank.

STELLAR! I want to go back, just for more days in that sitting room with that view, heated by the EverHot. Pamela is a superb. She communicated with us, checked in with us, created a wonderfully lovely set up, added extra little touches here and there-- it was an absolute perfect choice for our week. If you are searching for a self-catering place, book this. There were essentials of all sorts from tea/coffee to spices/herbs, oil/vinegar, firewood, etc. The kitchen is fabulous; the sofas comfy, and that view!--stunning! Stock up in Oban and settle in.

Cherrybank is as close to perfect a holiday cottage as it’s possible to be.
Despite terrible weather we had a wonderful stay - the rain and wind only made watching the tide rise and fall even better, and we did get one gorgeous sunset.
The beds are super-comfortable, the kitchen beautifully equipped and the owners beyond considerate, even calling us when they’d heard that a water main in Bunessan was affected. (We were fine!)
And as for the scenery, walks and wildlife - all stunning.
We certainly hope to be back.

We're just home from a glorious week on Mull, and Cherrybank really made the week for us. The cottage is just beautiful, with a fantastic cook's kitchen and airy open living and dining space with amazing water views. The perfect place to come back to after days out exploring Mull's stunning scenery. The cottage is stylish and is clearly a much loved home from home for its owners and their guests. We will definitely return!

Superb property in a fantastic location.
The property is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment to cater for yourselves. A beautiful location with lots of wildlife on your doorstep. Otters, eages, pine martins, red deer and lots more!
The Ross of Mull is a brilliant location for a holiday in Mull. We very easily visited Iona, Staffa and some of the most beautiful beaches I've been to. We holidayed with our two young children and we all had the most fantastic week, making lots of wonderful family memories. A holiday that I will remember for years to come. Thank you C&P :)

Just had another glorious week at Cherrybank. The shoreside location with the all-encompassing views from the windows and surrounding deck are what makes Cherrybank so special: we loved being right down on the seashore watching the changing tides and the wildlife from the big picture windows or the deck. The garden slopes right down to the water’s edge with no road or passing traffic between you, nature and the sea!
The inside is really lovely - welcoming and comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean and well equipped with lots of characterful and artistic touches. We can't wait to go back.

Will avoid repeating everything that has been said before, but this property is the exception and should be the rule. When we visit Mull again, we will want to stay here. What sets the property itself apart is that it is "lived in" by the owners when they visit rather then being "kitted out" for holidaymakers. The taste of the owners is also ours, so we chose it because we liked the styling etc. The location cannot be beaten as it is sheer bliss, totally relaxing, barely another human in sight but also near to the brilliant local Spar shop. Perfect to unwind and recharge the batteries.

Cherrybank is a lovely cottage in an absolutely stunning location with views to die for. Every time you come into the lounge the view takes your breath away. We couldn't stop photographing it! It's a really peaceful spot. Unfortunately there were a couple of things that detracted from the overall perception but they didn't spoil our stay. We had to clean the main windows so that we could see out of them as they were covered in smears and children's handprints from previous visitors; and there were one or two other minor cleaning issues, but overall it was a thoroughly lovely place to be.

We had a fantastic stay at Cherrybank Cottage, thanks in no small measure to the thoughtful owners. It's a really peaceful setting, with the view constantly changing due to the tide. Lots of seals out in the bay. And lovely starry sky on a number of evenings, which we enjoyed from the decking.
The cottage is tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. Our three kids had an amazing time racing around the garden. We visited Iona three times, and had great fun on Fidden beach - even spotted a Pine Marten scurrying up some rocks. This was one of our most memorable visits to Mull.

Exceptional! Location, furnishings, pottery, art, views, peace and quiet, nature and wildlife. Our stay was a Christmas Present and has to be the best we have ever had. Kayaking from just beyond the garden was a delight. Weather was pretty poor but our mood was always enhanced by the tranquility and comforts of the cottage. Caring, helpful and informative owner. Superb area for walking and exploration. Plenty on Ross of Mull itself without even venturing beyond Craignure. Must be totally idyllic in Summer though lovely with autumnal colours. Enjoyed the changing tides.

A superb cottage in a beautiful location. Cherrybank is amazing - lovely art and crockery, very comfortable, stylish and well-designed. One of the best cottages we have stayed in - five stars. Local beaches are great for swimming and we appreciated a phone call from Pamela on arrival. We'd love to stay again!

Of all the cottages we have stayed in, Cherrybank is far and away our favourite.
The location is perfect for trips to Iona and Staffa, the views from the living room are stunning, it is beautifully decorated and comfortable with everything you could need. Pamala and Charles provide a warm welcome, lots of information on the best places to visit nearby plus lots of other useful information regarding the cottage and many other very interesting books. We hope we can return one day soon.

Everything about Cherrybank is charming, beautiful and cosy. Artwork inspiring, sofas generous and comfortable, books and maps educational and interesting; with furnishings which enhance both the traditional parts of the cottage and the modern open plan extension. This encourages social discourse but is spacious enough to allow plenty of room for private individual pursuits; and all with spectacular views out to the shoreline and the delicious salty fresh sea aroma that greets you when you open any of the doors. We are enchanted by Cherrybank, the Ross of Mull and Iona. We shall return!

Cherrybank is sensational - a gorgeous balance of understated style and comfort. The attention to detail is first class - the array of books & maps, beautiful Scottish touches of Harris tweed soft furnishings and large comfortable sofas to sink into after a day of exploring! The ever changing views with magical sunsets, constant wildlife distractions and walks from the doorstep made this one of the best holidays we have ever had. A great location to discover Mull and minutes from the ferry to Iona and Staffa.
The owners had thought of everything. We will definitely be back.

A beautifully curated and incredibly well-equipped cottage in a serene spot. All the family enjoyed the relaxation the cottage offered in addition to the stunning nature both on the doorstep and this part of Ross peninsular. Offers friendly nearby amenities and close proximity for Iona, balanced with the unspoilt rurality of the wider locality. A perfect post lockdown break which will be remembered for its comfort, sunsets and shorelines. In addition, communication with the host, particularly through times of such uncertainty was friendly, supportive and prompt.
