A beautifully equipped cottage in a very scenic setting. We really appreciated the entrance and the spacious area to hang outdoor clothes and take off boots. the kitchen is very well equipped and we really appreciated the supply of towels and dish cloths. Very comfortable beds and practical bathroom: we couldn't have been better catered for. The spacious garden and garden furniture provided an extra delight. We would highly recommend this cottage for a couple or small family.

A fantastic little cottage, beautifully kept and well equipped. Very clean and comfortable. In a wonderful, peaceful location with Bunessan & it's facilities less than 10 minute drive away. Local walking from the cottage was very pleasant too. Look out for home grown produce & bakes, as well as fresh eggs, in honesty boxes as you stroll along the lane towards Bunessan. Only 20 mins drive from the cracking beaches of Usken & Ardalanish. A perfect home from home.

Stayed for a week and was absolute bliss. A stunning cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage sits on its own in lovely well kept grounds that we played lots of games in. Lots of birds visiting and lovely view over fields to coast line. Mainly ate in as many eateries were a good drive or walk away although there is a nearby nearby village with a chippy and pub. It wasn’t a problem though as kitchen was well placed to allow preparation of most meals. Not far from main road that connects you to nearby Fionnport (Iona) and to other parts of island.
    Highly recommended

What a delightful comfy hideaway with outstanding views and breathtaking sunsets. The cottage is a perfect base camp to explore the whole island and is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. A beautiful and comfy little cottage, with lovely views. We really enjoyed our stay here, and hope to come back one day. The kitchen is well equipped so it was easy to stay in and cook our own meals rather than eating out, which we always prefer to do on this type of holiday. A lot of thought has gone into this holiday cottage, and it contains everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable break.
I have to comment on the service received from Isle of Mull Cottages too. It has been excellent and they are a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and they are extremely helpful.

What a lovely cottage! My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Loved the way the cottage had been decorated, it was brilliantly equipped and was set up beautifully for when the weather wasn't too clement! There are some fantastic walks right on the door step, along with some mind-blowing wildlife and scenary. Highly recommended.

Lovely cosy, comfortable and clean cottage with stunning views. Great time to visit (29th October- 5th November) as hardly anyone around, felt as if we had this stunning island to ourselves. The down side is that nothing is open so picnic and flasks required.
Keep the gate closed to the cottage to avoid the roaming Highland cattle using the grounds as a grazing spot!

Highly recommend the nearby walk to Knockvologan and the tidal island of Erraid but check the tide times before you go!! We had a very enjoyable holiday at Achadaphail. The cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival and was equipped with everything we needed. The fittings and equipment were all of high quality. We enjoyed listening to the cuckoo who appeared to live in the tree behind the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage. The view from the cottage is lovely, with Staffa and the Treshnish isles on the horizon. The garden is enclosed and a great space for children to play in. There's also a good picnic table outside for al fresco dining should the weather play ball. The living room is easy to spent time in and gets the afternoon sun. Dining space a little tight for 4 adults. Furnishings are all fresh, and broadband surprisingly good (no problem streaming Netflix). Overall the photos don't do the cottage justice! Great location close to walks, beaches and Iona.

The cottage is clean, cosy and well equipped. The enclosed garden is brilliant for kids to play in and there is plenty of places to sit to read a book and admire the views. Lots of wildlife nearby, we saw a few buzzards while we were there along with lots of garden birds. Didn’t get lucky to enough to see any otters or eagles. The cottage is in a good position to explore the Ross of Mull And neighbouring island of Iona, and the beaches nearby are great to visit with crystal clear waters and powdery sands and hardly anyone around.

Cottage well equiped and great not to have to pay for electric! Door handle on toilet in danger of becoming jammed. As for the Isle of Mull, the Island is really underdeveloped as to things to do and spend our money. Just a few pubs and shops would be wonderful. A week was OK, but two weeks would be too much.

The cottage has everything to make your stay first class. As a parting gift on our last night we saw a young stag and a doe pass by at the top of the garden, magical moment. Very comfortable, private, huge fenced garden with lawn so grand for kids, I imagine. Well equipped. Ever changing vew across to Staffa and Treshnish islands from living room window and dining area. Seals in bays around the place (maybe otters but we didn't see them there). Try local foods - Ardalanish weavers has its own (frozen) meat and ready meals; Crofters' Kitchen in Kintra has veg, lovely salad, bread etc in a pretty location. Spar in Bunessan gets papers and bread etc at midday (we do not recommend the one in Craignure - unfriendly, didn't accept newspaper subscription vouchers).

Had a wonderful stay, very well appointed cottage every thing you need for a great holiday, wish I'd booked 2 weeks not just 1! So much to see and do apart from enjoying the amazing scenery, views and the wildlife. The dos and donts of driving on mull are very helpful- they do things a little differently on mull but it all makes perfect sense when you know the rules. Weather was wonderful, we only had one day when we experienced all weathers in one day but even that was amazing, the sky at night with no light pollution is fantastic - would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away from the rat-race to a magical place of peace and birdsong- we're getting a puppy next week so won't be able to re visit worst luck - it'll be hard to find another place as good as this.
